For ten years Terese Alstin and colleague Anna Haupt developed their heart project, the airbag bike helmet Hövding. After all these years they received many no’s from male so called experts, Terese decided to launch a new brand called NO SIR highlighting talented female designers.


At the launch in mid November, NO SIR already had about 40 designers represented, but they are growing fast and today, they have grown to around 50 designers. Since NO SIR is all about highlighting women – do not exclude men – they have chosen to also include designduos consisting of a woman + a man.

The range consists of interior pieces that stand out, surprise and go against the norm. Many come from small-scale production, some are even handmade which makes each item unique. They put great importance to tell the story about the designer and the product. I love projects and brands that dare to stand out! Here are some of my favorites pieces represented at NO SIR.
